Pakistan Army has decided to join the Pakistan Army as a captain in 2023 for male and female cadets. This was said by Pakistan army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday. He was addressing the graduation ceremony of Mangla Military College. The president of Pakistan has already approved the appointment of General Bajwa as army chief. Later in the day, Brigadier Arshad Malik, who is the military secretary and head of the Mangla Military College also announced that Pakistan will form an army in 2023. Brigadier Arshad Malik said that 2023 was a historical period for Pakistan.
The Pakistani army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Friday that Pakistan will form an army by 2023. The army chief was addressing the graduation ceremony of Mangla Military College. “Pak army is witnessing the ups and downs since its inception. The world has witnessed that today the Pakistani army is facing various challenges,” he said. The army chief said that the Pakistan army is emerging as a strong force to tackle any challenge. Bajwa further said that it is not his command but of the people.
He further said, “India is interfering in Pakistan. The Pakistan army is ready to fight with India. He said that the Pakistan army will add more strength to fight India’s psychological warfare”. Meanwhile, President Arif Alvi felicitated the graduates of Mangla Military College, the Chief of Army Staff, and their parents on completing one year of being officers of the Pakistan army. In his message, the president appreciated the role of the Pakistan army in the ongoing Afghan peace process. He further commended the role of the Pakistan army in the ongoing war against terrorism.
